Questions people ask
- Is it safe to connect our accounts?
- Yes — We manage and set up the authentication and security boundaries using Cloudflare Zero Trust and native OAuth gateways. Autonome never stores passwords. Because it deploys directly into your own Cloudflare account, the entire setup and authentication can be moved in-house to your own IT team at any time. The AI and your jobs never see the keys to your apps, and each company's data and workflows are strictly isolated.
- Do I need a developer?
- No. You describe the job in a sentence, it asks if anything is unclear, and you read the plan back as plain sentences. To change something, say what you would like different. The detailed settings are there if you want them, but you do not need them to get going.
- Which apps does it work with?
- MYOB (online company files), Xero, HubSpot, Gmail, Google Calendar, Drive, Docs and Sheets, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint — plus staff computers and phones when a job needs a local file or photo.
- What if it gets something wrong?
- Before a job is switched on, a test shows you what it would send and change, using your real figures. Once it is on, any step can wait for an admin's OK first, in Autonome or on a card in Microsoft Teams. If a run fails, whoever asked to be told gets an email saying what went wrong. Every change to a job is saved, so you can always go back to an earlier version.

- Why is Autonome OS a fork of Cloudflare OS?
- Our earlier versions of Autonome were already built on Cloudflare and followed the exact same safety methodology: never hand the AI your passwords, isolate every company workspace, test on real figures before sending anything, and wait for a person's OK. When Cloudflare released Cloudflare OS built on that exact same Cloudflare foundation and methodology, merging our years of work into a fork of Cloudflare OS was a complete no-brainer.
